Lake Mburo National Park is Uganda’s closest savannah national park to Entebbe and Kampala. It is famous for its rolling landscapes, acacia woodlands, beautiful lakes, and large populations of zebras, impalas, and antelopes. This short safari is ideal for travelers looking for wildlife, nature, and relaxation within a limited time.
Day 1: Entebbe – Lake Mburo National Park
06:30 am – Pick up from Entebbe (hotel or airport)
09:30 am – Stop at the Equator for photos and a short break
12:30 pm – Lunch stop in Masaka Town
02:30 pm – Arrive at Lake Mburo National Park and check in at the lodge
04:00 pm – 06:30 pm – Evening Game Drive
Enjoy wildlife sightings including zebras, impalas, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, and various bird species, with beautiful sunset views.
07:30 pm – Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 2: Lake Mburo National Park – Full Day Safari

07:00 am – 10:00 am – Morning Game Drive
This is the best time to see animals when they are most active, including zebras, antelopes, giraffes, and buffaloes.
11:00 am – 01:00 pm – Boat Cruise on Lake Mburo
Enjoy close views of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds in a calm and scenic environment.
01:30 pm – Lunch at the lodge
03:00 pm – 05:00 pm – Guided Nature Walk
Explore the park on foot with an armed ranger and learn about wildlife, plants, and animal tracks.

Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park – Entebbe

Final wildlife viewing as you leave the park.
