Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Kitgum
Depart Kampala early in the morning and travel north, enjoying the countryside scenery along the way. Stop for lunch and continue to Kitgum for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 2: Travel to Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast, journey through the hills of Karamoja to Kidepo Valley National Park. On arrival, settle in and enjoy the views of the vast savannah plains and distant mountains.
Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive
Spend the day exploring Kidepo’s open plains and valleys. Look out for herds of buffalo, elephants, zebras, and possibly lions or cheetahs. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue game viewing in the afternoon.
Day 4: Cultural Visit and Nature Walk
Visit a nearby Karamojong village to experience their traditions, dances, and way of life. In the afternoon, take a guided nature walk to observe birds and smaller wildlife.
Day 5: Return to Kampala / Entebbe
After breakfast, begin the journey back to Kampala with lunch and scenic stops along the way. Arrive in the evening and drop off at your hotel or the airport.
