Three Nubian Translocated to Ajai Wildlife Reserve

Uganda has reached another conservation milestone with the successful translocation of three Nubian giraffes from Murchison Falls National Park to Ajai Wildlife Reserve. Led by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), this initiative is part of a broader effort to restore wildlife populations and revive the reserve's natural ecosystem.

The return of these endangered giraffes is expected to improve biodiversity, support the long-term survival of the Nubian giraffe, and strengthen Ajai Wildlife Reserve as an emerging wildlife destination. It also creates new opportunities for eco-tourism and community livelihoods in the West Nile region.

As more wildlife returns to Ajai, visitors can look forward to experiencing another unique safari destination in Uganda, showcasing the country's continued commitment to wildlife conservation and sustainable tourism.
